Project: Installation of bird proofing nets
The client, Marcon Construction, removed the previous bird protection nets from the roof to carry out roof repairs and install new HVAC units.
County Bird Control was tasked with the installation of new bird control netting on behalf of Marcon at Southbourne Beach Care Home, Bournemouth, Dorset.
All fixing and components installed were in stainless steel due to the sea front location of the property.
This option extends the life of the fixings.
Bird proofing used:
Various length bird control nets were installed to protect the roof plant machinery/HVAC
2mm stainless steel net wire around the perimeter of roof walls.
Size 6 Stainless steel barrel strainers.
Stainless steel hog rings.
Various fixings and accessories.
The project was completed over 2 days and within budget.
